Meditations
This series was photographed using a large format 4x5 view camera along the Ken Lockwood Gorge. Outfitted with waders and all of my equipment, I was often submerged three feet in rushing water. Each shot was carefully selected and planned for the light on that particular day. No two images are the same due to the ever changing patterns of the water and exposure times. The images were printed in the darkroom as traditional silver gelatin prints.
